Enrique Dussel

Dussel was an Argentine philosopher of liberation who was exiled to Mexico. Start ethics from the person the system has thrown out, from the face of the excluded other, and modern philosophy looks different: the reason Europe calls universal was built out of the conquest. He wanted a thinking that comes from the edges of the world rather than its center, and called that project transmodern.
